This week at our Bristol office, we’re doing team introductions a little differently…
Instead of the usual headshots and job titles, we’re taking things way back — to a time of tiny shoes, questionable haircuts, and serious snack-based motivation. 🍪
Say hello to our South West team… as they once were!

Behind every email, meeting, and deadline is a human being who was once:
• mastering the art of finger painting 🎨
• negotiating bedtime like a pro 💤
• and probably dreaming big (or just dreaming about dinosaurs 🦖)

It’s a fun reminder that while we’ve grown into our roles, built our skills, and (mostly) figured out what we’re doing… we’re still those same people at heart.

Monday Motivation: The Power of Positive Affirmations

From a young age, we’re conditioned to seek positive affirmation — from parents, teachers, mentors, and eventually our managers and colleagues. A “well done,” a “you’ve got this,” or even a simple acknowledgement can make all the difference in building confidence and driving us forward.

But at some point, something shifts. We begin to realise that the most powerful affirmations don’t just come from others — they come from the impact we create.

In education recruitment, that impact is everything.

It’s in the moment a candidate tells us they’ve landed their dream role.

This Wednesday brought plenty of laughs to the office as our consultants took part in a game of “Shake the hand of…” 🤝

Let’s just say… there were a lot of giggles.

The best part? The consultants having their hands shaken have absolutely no idea what they’re being linked to until the video is revealed. A few surprises (and probably a few raised eyebrows) are definitely on the way! 👀

It’s moments like these that remind us how important it is to switch off, have a laugh, and enjoy the people around us. We’re a team that works incredibly hard—some might even say to the bone—but we make sure to carve out time for a bit of fun and a good old-fashioned head-scratcher.

Here’s to laughter, teamwork, and keeping the energy high.
