Class 2 Driver
Location: Chepstow, NP16
Shift times: Monday to Friday 06:00 until 16:30
Pay Rate: £15.12 per hour

Manpower are currently looking for full-time, Class 2 Day Driver to join our national client at their site in Chepstow. This role is temp to perm for the ideal candidate.

About the role:

Safely operate the delivery vehicle, adhering to business standards and protocols.
Conduct thorough vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA regulations.
Perform white goods deliveries, accompanied by a driver’s mate.
Home deliveries - transport items to the customer’s room of choice, including carrying items to homes that may be several stories high.
Kerbside deliveries - hand off items directly to individuals on building sites.
Handle multidrop deliveries, with the number of stops varying daily.
Use a hand held scanner and complete all necessary paperwork.
Strong communication skills and a positive demeanour are required for direct interaction with customers.

Requirements:

HGV 2 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
Minimum 6 months Class 2 experience
A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
Multidrop delivery experience.
Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
A can-do attitude.

Production - Plant Operative Ivybridge

Manpower are recruiting for Production staff to work on an ongoing basis with our national client.

Do you have a background in Production? If so this could be the role for you!

This is a fast paced and physical role but rewarding.

Shift Pattern

Early Shift 06:00 -15:00 – Mon -Fri, plus Sat morning (if demand is high) 7-11am.
Back Shift 11:00 – 20:00 Mon -Fri.

Shift patterns would alternate on a rota basis, however during training the potential candidate would be expected to work an early shift for as long as their training takes.

The role is temporary ongoing. £12.30 per hour for standard hours (42.5hrs). Overtime rates at time & ½.

Shifts are currently Monday to Friday but Saturday mornings from 07:00 until 11.00am may be required during peak seasons.

Own transport necessary due to location.

Using a hand-held computer device to act as a routing system and capture customer signatures
To succeed, you will need a valid manual Cat B licence with no more than 6 points. You’ll also need:
Good time keeping and customer service skills
