I am recruiting for a Transport Admin Assistant based in Severn Beach, Bristol.

Staffco Direct are recruiting for a Transport Admin Assistant for our well know client in Severn Beach (Avonmouth), Bristol.

Working with the existing transport admin team, to ensure drivers are briefed/debriefed, with general admin duties included.

This company operate 7 days a week, so this may suit a job share on either a 4 on/4 off basis or other arrangement

The Job:

- Transport Admin Assistant

- 8am to 4pm daily

- 7 day a week opperation, will be working as part of a rota

- Driefing/debriefing drivers

- General admin

- Other duties as necessary to ensure the smooth running of the operation

What we offer:

- £11.87 per hour (including holiday pay, please see below)

What we are looking for

- Admin experience

- Ability to work as part of a team

- Own transpoort is essestial due to location

- Experience in transport would be preferable

6am-9am start times day and 4pm-8pm starts on nights,
6-8 drops per day max.
5 days a week guaranteed (6th day available),
overtime after 45hrs,
weekly pay,
ongoing work.

Must be able to work weekend days as part of a rolling rota.

Severn beach based so own transport is essential.

I am looking for an experienced Transport Night Supervisor to join our clients busy operation in Avonmouth.
Sunday to Thursday
£30k-£35k (Experience Dependent)
Based on working 48 hours a week
19:00 till 05:00
We will from time to time require you to jump on a Forklift to assist in loading or unloading but can provide training for this.
28 Days holiday
Transport Supervisor Duties:
Pre-Brief all drivers to ensure they fully understand the days work and what is required of them
De-Brief all drivers to ensure they have completed all required work and any issues challenged have been dealt with.
Dealing with issues and resolving issues as they arise through the shift and amending the plan to suit when issues arise to ensure we maintain acceptable customer service levels
Completing and communicating the documented handover
Communicating issues as they arise to relevant stake holders
Be able to maintain TMS system compliance
Ensure accurate trailer checks are completed and sent
Requirements:
‘Right To Work’ in the UK
Forklift Licence
Knowledge of Drivers Hours, Tachograph and WTD legislation
Knowledge of Continuous Improvement.
Good standard of education
IT literate
Knowledge of Health & Safety
Knowledge of transport systems.

RHA has been highlighting the difficulties for commercial vehicle drivers surrounding the regulation relating to keeping 28 days of driving records. DfT have now confirmed that that block entries and attestation (evidence) forms will now be accepted by DVSA.

Hello

While many complain about life in general and the cost of living etc, I am sitting on a sofa that costs £3,500, lovely and cool in front of an air-con unit costing £2,300, watching the latest film on a 70" smart TV that costs £4,000
Right now, I'm happy, with no worries and not a care in the world, not even the employees at John Lewis, who keep asking me to leave can spoil my day........😊
