Les Deux Alpes - Skibound Resort Rep/Tech – Skibound 26/27

You are the happy charismatic face of skibound and will ensure communication during the guest’s holiday is clear, organised and positive.

Working with your team members you will be the fountain of knowledge on everything ski.. including managing ski equipment, fitting ski equipment, ordering lift passes, confirming ski school, arranging, and leading apres-ski activities as key components. Your experience, training and research of ski equipment and the resort itself will allow you to respond to clients’ questions/problems promptly and accurately.

Job Opportunity: Catering Assistant – JCA Condover Hall
Location: Condover Hall, Shrewsbury
Contract Type: Seasonal Full or Part Time (From now to October 2026, includes weekends and early/late shifts)
Reports To: Restaurant Supervisor

JCA Sport sits within the Experience Education group which is one of the UK’s leading school travel groups, delivering educational and sporting tours, expeditions and residential programmes for thousands of young people every year.
Based at Condover Hall, a purpose-built residential venue in Shropshire, JCA Sport delivers residential sports weekends and tournaments for schools and clubs across the UK, with netball at the absolute core of the product alongside football and rugby. Our weekends combine competitive sport, excellent facilities and memorable experiences, giving young people the opportunity to develop their skills, compete against their peers and represent their school in a well-organised, professional environment.

We are at an exciting stage of growth. This newly created role represents a significant investment in bringing our operational model fully in-house, and places a dedicated, passionate netball professional at the heart of everything we deliver at Condover Hall.

This is as much a desk role as it is a delivery role. You will need strong administration skills to manage the detail - schedules, communications, bookings, supplier coordination, App content - and an equally strong ability to step out from behind that desk and be the professional, energetic face of JCA Sport when groups arrive at Condover Hall. Our 10-month Outdoor Activity Instructor Apprenticeship starts in January each year and is run in partnership with Shrewsbury College. Our programme is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience alongside industry recognised qualifications. This is a residential position based at Condover Hall in Shropshire, one of our UK Children’s Activity Centres.

A winter season with Skibound is like no other. With over 40 years’ experience in the industry, we offer a unique ski experience to budding skiers from all over the world with school and youth groups at the heart of our business. You will be based at one of our 3 lively club hotels across 3 resorts in the French Alps, home to some of Europe’s best skiing and après - Alpe d’Huez, Les Menuires and Serre Chevalier.

What skills and experience will I need to be an Assistant Chef?
Previous food prep and cooking experience in a professional kitchen environment as a Commis Chef or Chef de Partie
Any qualifications in cookery are a bonus e.g. NVQ
Good understanding of HACCP and Health and Safety regulations including COSHH
A passion for the catering industry
A willingness to get stuck in and help across all sections of the kitchen
High energy and motivated to learn
