This role is centred around building strong relationships with landlords and tenants, and my client is looking for a proactive and personable individual that is a natural problem solver and enjoys working in a close-knit team.

Responsibilities:

- Guiding tenants through the renting process.
- Managing a portfolio of properties 60-80.
- Processing tenancy paperwork, drawing up contracts and other legal documents.
- Keeping accurate property records.
- Coordinating and issuing maintenance works to be carried out.
- Ensuring we are compliant with legislation across our operations.
- Preparing properties for the tenancy change over.
- Dealing with enquiries from landlords and tenants.
- Account managing and attending client meetings.
- Liaising with landlords in further property improvements and refurbishments.

The right candidate will have the following skills and experience to apply:

- Approachable and focused on providing great customer service.
- Proven property management/lettings coordination background.
- Proactive and organised.
- Efficient and capable of managing a varied workload.
- Experienced in property legislation.
- Full UK driving licence.

- Attending and supporting AGM meetings, including preparing documentation and taking minutes where required.
- Carrying out regular site visits and inspections across the Brighton & Hove area.
- Managing LPE1 packs and providing conveyancing support.
- Handling leasehold compliance and ensuring adherence to current legislation.
- Assisting with and coordinating Section 20 consultation processes.
- Liaising professionally with leaseholders, contractors, solicitors and surveyors.
- Overseeing health & safety compliance, fire risk assessments and general property compliance matters.
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal property management systems.

The successful candidate will have:

- A minimum of a few years’ experience within Block Management or Residential Property Management.
- A strong understanding of leasehold legislation, compliance and block management processes.
- Experience dealing with AGMs, Section 20 consultations, contractor management and leaseholder communication.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, organised and solution-focused approach to work.
- The ability to manage a busy and varied workload effectively within a team environment.
- Experience using property management systems such as Dwellent or Tramps would be advantageous.
