Next Step Apprenticeships is recruiting for two Business Development Apprentices to join a busy and growing sales team in Worthing.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business development, customer service and sales administration while completing a Level 3 apprenticeship.

Requirements:
• Confident and professional communication skills
• Comfortable speaking with customers over the phone
• Interest in sales, business development and customer service
• Positive, proactive and self-motivated approach
• Good organisation and attention to detail

Responsibilities:
• Make outbound calls to prospective business customers
• Research and identify potential new customers
• Qualify leads and identify sales opportunities
• Arrange appointments for the sales team
• Update CRM systems, spreadsheets and customer records

Keira has been recognised for her hard work, dedication and fantastic progress throughout her Level 2 Equine Groom apprenticeship at Lancing Equestrian.

Her Skills Coach, Katharine Sancin, Equine Groom Skills Coach, shared:

💬"Keira is very hard working and dedicated to her apprenticeship. She has learnt a lot along the way and puts lots of effort into each piece of work she produces.

She has become very competent as a Level 2 Groom and I hope she goes on to do her Level 3, as she is very able. She’s always positive and a fantastic team player, and everyone she works with speaks highly of her.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience caring for horses and ponies while developing practical riding, horse care and yard management skills.

Requirements:
• Previous experience handling and being around horses
• Genuine passion for horses and their welfare
• Strong organisational skills and a methodical approach
• Friendly and confident when dealing with customers
• Comfortable with physical and practical yard duties

Responsibilities:
• Carry out general yard duties including mucking out and bedding down
• Turn horses out and bring them in from fields
• Prepare feeds and assist with feeding
• Groom and tack up horses ready for daily activities
• Carry out daily welfare checks and maintain clean, safe yard areas
