We are currently looking for several Warehouse Parcel Sorters to work within a distribution site. Our client operates 24 hours a day with typically you will work 5 shifts over 7 days a week. We are considering all applications from wanting weekends, Part time, or full time.

Duties will consist of but are not limited to:

Sorting through incoming stock.

Unloading HGV’s.

Loading and sorting Boxes & Packages.

Loading Vehicles ready for dispatch.

Unloading undelivered mail & packages.

Redistributing deliveries.

Using a headset to communicate with other staff within the warehouse and office.

Working with Manual handling equipment.

Organising customer goods.

Working efficiently and within a timely manner to achieve all targets of the day.

Requirements to be considered:
Due to the nature of our client’s business all candidates will be required to undergo right to work in the UK checks and provide the following information:
Hold Photo ID (Driving License or Passport).

Transport Co-ordinator required to start immediately!

Bridgwater - Competitive salary with exceptional overtime rate!

Sunday to Thursday with Weekly pay. Fridays and Saturdays off!

Shifts usually are 6am - 2pm however there is also a requirement to cover the 2pm - 9pm shift.

If you have experience within the transport and logistics industry we want to hear from you! We are currently looking for someone to join an already established team, to work within the transport office and supervise the Warehouse Operation.

Your duties will consist of:

Organising drivers equipment for the day.

Greeting drivers as they return back to the depot.

Dealing with any queries with the drivers.

Assigning routes for the drivers to follow if required.

Answering the depot phone and transferring to the correct department.

Assisting within the depot Warehouse as and when required.

The ideal candidate will have a background within the transport industry, this could be gained from being a multi-drop driver and wanting to move from on the road to off the road or from working within a transport office environment however training will be given between the hours of 12 midday and 6pm for the first week.

It would be beneficial if you have experience with parcel delivery, or multidrop experience, and if you currently hold a valid UK driving licence.

Other duties such as assisting in the warehouse maybe required, therefore flexibility is key with this role. You must also have great customer service skills, be able to communicate with drivers, warehouse, management and other office staff, as well as have a desire to learn and progress within the role.
