Groundworker – Social Housing
Location: Liverpool
Pay Rate: £19.00 per hour (CIS)
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Start Date: ASAP

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworker to join a well-established social housing contractor covering Liverpool and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity offering a 12-week temporary period through the agency (CIS), with the opportunity to secure a permanent position directly with the company for the right candidate.

Duties will include:
⏺️General groundworks on social housing properties
⏺️Fence installation and repairs
⏺️Gate repairs and replacements
⏺️Flagging, paving and minor concreting
⏺️External property maintenance
⏺️Working independently and as part of a responsive maintenance team
⏺️Delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining excellent customer service

Requirements:
⏺️NVQ in Groundworks (or equivalent)
⏺️Full, clean UK driving licence
⏺️Previous experience working within social housing or responsive maintenance
⏺️Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
⏺️Good communication and customer service skills

We are currently recruiting experienced Multi-Trade Operatives to join a busy social housing maintenance contract in the Melton Mowbray area. This is a temporary position with an immediate start for the right candidates.

Pay: £23.00 per hour CIS
Expenses: £55 per week for fuel
Job Type: Temporary Contract

Key Responsibilities:
■ Carrying out day-to-day repairs and maintenance within occupied social housing properties
■ Strong focus on plastering works, including patch repairs and full room skims
■ Identifying and treating damp and mould issues, including preparation, treatment, and making good
■ Completing a range of multi-trade tasks including basic carpentry, plumbing, and decorating
■ Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations
■ Providing excellent customer service to tenants at all times

Requirements:
■ Proven experience as a Multi-Trade Operative within social housing or domestic maintenance
■ Strong plastering skills (essential)
■ Experience dealing with damp and mould remediation
■ Own van and tools required
■ Full UK driving licence
■ Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
