Pupils may board from the age of 8 and in the Senior School, almost half the pupils board, including a small percentage from overseas. Stonar offers a wide range of subjects and, as an academically non-selective school, has demonstrated outstanding A Level and GCSE successes at both levels. Students go on to university courses ranging from Medicine and Law to Geology and Music. The school is regularly in the top 10% of schools for value added. The extensive facilities include an indoor swimming pool, floodlit astro-turf and sports hall, fitness suite, dedicated music school and theatre and a purpose-built Sixth Form Centre. The EYFS Nursery Practitioner should hold at least an EYFS Level 2 qualification or above. However, we are open to applicants wanting to do an apprenticeship program to support their growth and development in the role for level 3 and above. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Early Years and Head of Prep to promote a lifelong love of learning. Open all year round between 8 and 6 Monday to Friday. The role is 52 weeks a year but we would consider a term time plus role for the right candidate.

An experienced Groom is required to join the team. Candidates will preferably hold BHS qualifications and must have experience of working on a professional yard and the ability to assist with riding activities, lead rein lessons and helping out with events.

Stonar will offer you the opportunity to gain BHS qualifications, training for BHS is available free of charge at the school.

There is a chance to earn a winter bonus of £500 over the period of 1 October to 31 March. If you have more than 3 days sickness in that period, it reduces the percentage of the bonus.
