Community Care Fair

Today we’re at Bourne End Community Centre from 1–4pm for a wonderful community event, bringing people together to discover the fantastic services and support available locally.

From exercise classes such as Otago and Move It or Lose It, Simply Walk - walking groups and Horizon local physiotherapy, Grey Matters financial support, Pranic Healing, Absolute Mobility - bathroom design advice and LSJ booked ear health checks, there is something for everyone.

We’re also delighted to welcome Bucks Opportunities, who support people in our community by listening to their experiences and working together to improve local initiatives, and Talking Newspapers, who help blind and visually impaired people access news and information.

A special thank you to our event partner, Shelburne Lodge, for working with us to make this event possible. We’re also raising funds for the Princes Centre, whose adult day service has kindly provided delicious cakes for everyone to enjoy.

It’s all about connecting people, sharing information, raising awareness and making sure everyone knows what support is available right on their doorstep.
