Shop Operative – Full Time
Location: Shopping City, Runcorn
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00–16:30 (optional overtime available over the Christmas period)
Pay rate: £12.60 standard rate and bank holidays £14.87

Rhubarb Street is looking for a dedicated Full-Time Shop Operative to join our team in Runcorn. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the shop floor, support stock flow, and help maximise sales.
🔹 What You’ll Be Doing
Running the day-to-day operations of the Rhubarb Street shop
Delivering great customer service and handling transactions on the POS system
Organising product displays and keeping shelves fully stocked
Ensuring the shop and back-of-house areas remain clean, organised, and presentable
Overseeing stock management, merchandising, goods in/out
Liaising with the warehouse team to ensure the correct products reach the shop
Accepting deliveries and moving stock to its correct destination
🔹 What We’re Looking For
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with the warehouse team
Confident with physical tasks such as lifting roll cages and restocking
Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for customer service
Strong initiative — someone who can spot ways to improve the shop environment
A smartphone to research product prices when required
