📋 Role Details
📍 Connolly LTD | Bolton
Hours: Approx. 39 per week
Wage: Minimum wage (age dependent)
Location: Bolton (travel required)
Reporting to: Site Supervisor

Are you looking for a hands-on role where you can learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career?
Connolly LTD is offering an exciting opportunity to train as a Plasterer while working towards an NVQ Level 2 qualification.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
As part of a small team, you will:
✔ Apply plaster to walls and ceilings ready for decorating
✔ Work on external finishes like rendering and pebble dashing
✔ Assist with dry lining and partition systems
✔ Learn fibrous plastering (decorative features like cornices)
✔ Work safely at heights (ladders & scaffolding)
✔ Complete site paperwork and follow safety procedures
✔ Provide excellent service to clients and colleagues

🎯 What We’re Looking For
✅ GCSEs (Grade 9–4), including Maths & English
✅ Positive attitude & willingness to learn
✅ Interest in practical, hands-on work
✅ Reliable, hardworking team player
✅ Good communication skills
✅ Willing to work towards a driving licence
✅ Ready to gain a CSCS card within 6 weeks

🚀 Progression Opportunities
Once qualified, you could move into:
Dry lining & advanced systems
Supervisory roles
Self-employment

✔ Doors, windows & staircases
✔ Kitchens, cupboards & furniture
✔ Structural woodwork & fittings
Gain hands-on experience using both modern machinery and traditional tools.

🧰 What You’ll Be Doing
✔ Cutting and shaping timber
✔ Installing doors, floors, and fittings
✔ Constructing wooden frameworks & structures
✔ Assisting with first and second fix joinery
✔ Working on-site safely and as part of a team
