Elderflowers appear to be a couple of weeks earlier this year, something to do with the heat 🥵 wave 👋? It’s been all hands on to get this batch picked ready for more elderflower cider packaging over the next month.

Quite different from early February in the orchard when it had a river running through! What a change in a few months, now the ground is cracking and we’ll be hoping for rain again soon. A promising display of blossom, we’ll have a better idea of crop prospects in a few months time.

An apple press built over a hundred years ago in Wiltshire is set to take pride of place in a County Durham cidery that will train and employ autistic people.
