Are you a compassionate and dedicated Physical Health Nurse looking to make a real difference? Our client is seeking an experienced RGN to join a purpose-built low secure hospital in Newark, providing personalised assessment and recovery-focused treatment pathways, including a trauma-specific pathway, for women with complex care needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in promoting and improving the physical wellbeing of service users while working alongside a highly skilled multidisciplinary team in a supportive and rewarding environment.
🌟Key Responsibilities
✅Lead and coordinate all aspects of the physical healthcare needs of service users
✅Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including GPs, SALTs and other healthcare professionals
✅Deliver high-quality, person-centred physical healthcare interventions
✅Support colleagues and promote effective teamwork across the service
✅Monitor, assess and respond to changes in service users' physical health needs
✅Provide guidance, education and training to colleagues where required
✅Ensure accurate clinical documentation and maintain high professional standards
✅Promote best practice in physical health care within a mental health setting
🎯What We're Looking For
✔Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid and active NMC Pin
✔Experience in NG Feeding and Phlebotomy
✔Previous experience delivering training to colleagues
✔A good understanding of mental health and the physical health needs of individuals within mental health services
✔Excellent communication, organisational and clinical skills
✔A compassionate, proactive and person-centred approach to care
