Ticket Conductors Required 🚎🚎
📍Based out the Wednesbury depot, covering the Birmingham & Black Country
💶£13.45 per hour, paid weekly
🎫3 to 4 month contract
🪪Basic DBS required, we can do this for you
⏳Average of 39 hours per week inc weekends
🥼Smart business wear (no jeans or trainers)
🚗Limited parking available at depot
🕐Working Pattern, you will be given set shifts of early, mid and late
Early: 4am - 12pm
Mid: 10am - 8pm
Late: 3pm - 1/2am
👤The role involves delivering excellent customer service and managing ticket sales onboard trams, including checking tickets and passes, selling tickets where necessary, and ensuring a positive customer experience for all passengers.
Shifts are structured in 4-hour blocks with a 45-minute break in between. Full training will be provided over one week, covering track safety, accident management, relevant systems, and on-the-job shadowing with experienced Metro colleagues.
Successful candidates will have previous experience in a customer-facing role, demonstrate strong customer service skills, possess good numeracy for cash handling responsibilities, and always maintain a professional and positive approach.
Full training provided in first week - mix of onsite shadowing and classroom
