Press Brake Setter Operator

InstaStaff are currently recruiting for a Press Brake Setter Operator to join a manufacturing company based in Nechells.

This role will be temp to perm, with an immediate start.

The duties of the Press Brake Setter Operator will be:

* Setting up and operating press brake machinery
* Interpreting blueprints and engineering plans
* Selecting, positioning, and aligning dies
* Conducting pre-operation inspections
* Running the machine to bend metal sheets and laser blanks as per the job requirement.
* Monitoring the machine to ensure it functions correctly and that there are no errors during the operation.
* Inspecting the finished pieces to ensure they meet the required dimensions and tolerances.
* Reporting any quality issues to the relevant Management.
* Conducting regular inspections to ensure machinery operates smoothly.
* Identifying and resolving any machine problems to reduce downtime.
* Calculating bend allowances.
* Adjusting machine settings for material thickness and bend angles.
* Operating CNC (Computer Numerical Control) press brakes and software, where applicable.

The ideal Press Brake Setter Operator will have:

* At least 3 years' experience in Press Break Operating plus general engineering work

* Familiar with CAD/CAM software
* Ability to handle physical workload

* Some knowledge of programming reading and an understanding of drawings & models
* The ability to operate multiple machines simultaneously
* Organised, focused and with an attention to detail

The hours of work will be Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am - 1.30pm

Salary for this role is up to £15.00 per hour

InstaStaff are currently recruiting for a Part Time Market Researcher to join their clients remote team based at various bus, tram and rail depos across Birmingham.

As a Part Time Market Researcher, you will be required to approach people traveling throughout Birmingham on trains, buses and trams, undertaking market research questions, and asking them their views, opinions and feedback on various subjects.

You will have experence in market research duties and be confident in approching people and holding a converstaion to gather the information required.

This role will be on an ad hoc basis to suit yourself, we require people across all 7 days of the week, you choose the day you wish to work.

The hours of work will be either 8am - 2pm or 1pm - 7pm

The duties of the Part Time Market Researcher will include:

* Working at various transport locations
* Speaking to people face to face
* Asking the pubilc questions and completing surverys
* Gathering information
* Filling in forms on a hand held device

The ideal Part Time Market Researcher will have:

* Excellent customer service experience
* Excellent communication skills
* Good attention to detail
* The ability to notice things and work at a fast pace
* Good computer skills
* The ability to work part time

A tailor-made parking solutions company, operating in over 9 countries and 183 cities, are seeking a Security Guard / Car Parking Attendant to patrol hospital car parks and grounds within Doncaster, to ensure compliance with either the 1991 Road Traffic Act, or 2024 Traffic Management Act, by issuing parking notices when require.

Your place of work will be based at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals , and you will have access to your own facilities. The hours will be 4 days on, 4 days off, 5.30am - 5.30pm

Full training will be given, and you must hold a full UK driving licence, and have the ability to use a hand held computer.

The duties of the Security Guard / Car Park Attendant will include:

* Issue parking notices to offending vehicles
* Taking cash and card payments
* Complete walks of the grounds and car parks as required
* Dealing with queries and issues from the public
* Dealing with machine and barrier issues
* Helping the public, doctors, nurses, surgeons and contractors with their permits
* Inspect parking meters and pay and display machines, to ensure they are working prior to issuing notices
* Placing out of order notices and reporting faults on parking meters and pay and display machines
* Record additional evidence which may be required to prove breach of regulations, and which would not be included on parking notices
* Check and report on signs and markings to ensure that any parking notices issues are valid
* Report suspected abandoned vehicles
* Act as a source of local information to the public
* Deal with difficult customers effectively

We are looking for a Security Guard / Car Park Attendant with:

* Excellent customer service skills
* A full UK driving licence
* A professional persona
