Willo Recruitment is proud to be working with a number of outstanding children’s residential homes across Burton-on-Trent, Derby, and Solihull. These homes provide safe, supportive environments for children and young people with EBD and they’re looking for compassionate, experienced professionals to join their teams.

✔️ Strong understanding of EBD and trauma-informed care

✔️ A calm, kind, and therapeutic approach to support

We're recruiting for – TWO Senior Residential Support Workers!

Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people? We're working with a brand new therapeutic children's home and are on the lookout for not one, but two experienced Senior Support Workers to join a fantastic team on a permanent basis.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape a brand new home from the very beginning and be part of a nurturing, therapeutic environment that truly puts the needs of young people first.

If you have a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and experience working in a residential setting or with children who have EBD, we’d love to hear from you. You’ll be stepping into a role where your voice matters, and your care makes a lasting impact.

What an incredible start to the week for Willo Recruitment!

On Monday, we were proud to be part of Flourish Futures with Prosper Together Multi Academy Trust, and yesterday we hosted our very own Willo Champions event in partnership with the amazing ASTON VILLA FOUNDATION!

A selection of our partner schools joined us for a fantastic morning of sport and multi-skills activities, led by inspiring coaches. It was a real joy to watch the children fully immerse themselves in the experience and make the most of every opportunity.

These events are the heartbeat of what we do. Being able to give back and support schools in more ways than one makes us incredibly proud. One teacher mentioned that some of the pupils attending wouldn’t usually have access to experiences like this - and that’s exactly why we do it.

We’re here to open doors, spark confidence, and give children the chance to shine.

A huge thank you to all the schools who joined us - we’re already planning for next year, and it’s going to be even bigger and better! and a massive thank you to Danielle Beckett and your team for all the incredible work you do with schools and helping us host this event!

What a day to remember! 💫🎉

Yesterday, our Director had the VIP treatment at the amazing Flourishing Futures event, hosted by the brilliant Prosper Together Multi Academy Trust – and wow, what a celebration it was!

We were buzzing to help sponsor the day by bringing in a DJ (big shoutout to Justin at JPentertainments weddings & events) to crank up the fun and let the children graduate in true party style. Music, dancing, laughter – it had it all!

A huge highlight - The Fordbridge Community Primary Choir gave us goosebumps, and the CBJS Gymnastics Team absolutely flipped the energy in the room. These children are incredible and on to great things!

It was heartwarming to see the bond between the students and their teachers – so much love, support, and behind-the-scenes magic to make every single child feel celebrated. Watching the Year 6 leavers make memories they'll carry into secondary school and beyond... it was honestly an honour to witness. 🎓✨

Massive thanks again to Prosper Together Multi Academy Trust for having us – and to everyone who made the night unforgettable. Here’s to more moments that matter! 💛

Our director has been busy this morning visiting some of our schools and then to visit the wonderful Carla Sidaway at Blythe Rose Specialist Dementia Care.

Another extremely warm welcome and beautiful home! She even came away with a goodie bag 😍 (see photos below)

Macc Care are so passionate about doing everything they can for their residents, their homes are all stunning and their staff are just incredible with a real strive to make a difference.

They have an open week from 16th - 22nd June with lots of great events planned throughout the week. Check out the leaflet in the photos for further details or contact Carla Sidaway directly.

For the rest of the day Kirstie will be found indulging in her lavender bath salts, drinking hot chocolate and eating cookies!

🌹 Yesterday, our Director and partners Dementia Friendly Recruitment had the privilege of attending the grand opening of Wyrley Rose Care Home – and what a truly special experience it was!

From the moment they arrived, the warmth of the welcome was second to none. The home itself is absolutely stunning, thoughtfully designed to feel both luxurious and deeply comforting. Our Director had the pleasure of meeting some wonderful people and enjoying food that was, quite simply, to die for!

One of the most touching moments was hearing about the preparations being made to welcome their very first resident later that evening. The personal touches and attention to detail were nothing short of beautiful.

It was truly inspiring to see the MACC Care team’s passion shine through. Their dedication to creating the very best environment for their residents is a testament to the heart and soul they put into everything they do.

Thank you to the MACC Care team for the kind invitation – we wish Wyrley Rose every success in this new chapter! 💫
