We have a great opportunity for caring individuals to work with adults with learning disabilities in a residential home in Denby Dale.

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing vulnerable adults with the day-to-day care and support they need to lead fulfilling lives.

You will be encouraging residents to make choices about their care, how it is delivered, and what leisure and educational activities they want to participate in. You will provide high quality care and ensure all their immediate needs are met.

Working in a warm and homely environment your day-to-day duties will include

Assessing individual needs, contributing to risk assessments and support plans of the residents. Recording and maintaining accurate daily logs and updates to all records.

Supporting with day-to-day leisure activities and daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, trips out and attending appointments etc

Encouraging residents to keep in touch with family members and have an active social life.

Follow CQC Regulations and guidelines, policies and procedures.

Maintain good relationships with multidisciplinary teams.

Shift patterns:
We have 2 positions available

Day Support Worker 8 am – 8 pm
Waking Night Support Worker 9.30 pm – 7.30 am

Shift patterns are 3 long days per week which means you will have 4 days a week to yourself!

To be considered for this role you must be

Β· Passionate about delivering high-quality care and support to vulnerable adults

Β· Ideally, be a car driver due to the location of the home

Β· Be willing to undergo a DBS check (cost covered by employer)

Are you a Registered Manager with over 3 years experience of running a children's residential home?

Could you provide support to other home managers with setting up and running their homes?

An Area Manager is required to guide and support a group of Registered Managers based in The Midlands. The purpose of the role is to ensure;

β€’ Homes are being run in line with Ofsted regulations and providing high levels of quality care.

β€’ Work with home managers to ensure the homes are safe, adequately staffed, the children’s individual needs are met, and outcomes are being achieved.

β€’ Carry out staff supervisions, evaluations, regular audits, and develop individual PDP for all managers.

As the Area Manager, must be able to demonstrate;

β€’ Experience of leading and mentoring staff, managing referrals, Ofsted inspections
β€’ Thorough knowledge of Ofsted, social care, and child protection regulations.
β€’ Strong commercial awareness and financial skills
β€’ Passion for support young people to achieve their individual outcomes.

To be considered for this role you must have;

β€’ NVQ Level 5 in Children and Young people or equivalent qualification
β€’ At least 3 years Registered Manager experience
