I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor to join a busy dealership in Basingstoke.

💰 £30,000 basic + £38,000 OTE with uncapped bonus
📅 Monday–Friday
⏰ 8am–6pm / 7:30am–5:30pm rota
📆 1 in 4 Saturdays, 8am–1pm

🔧 What you’ll be doing:
✔️ Managing customers from booking through to vehicle collection
✔️ Liaising with customers and the workshop
✔️ Booking vehicles into the workshop
✔️ Keeping customers updated throughout the repair/service process
✔️ Discussing additional work and maintenance requirements
✔️ Managing job cards, authorisations and invoices

👤 Looking for someone with:
Previous Service Advisor / dealership experience, excellent customer service skills and a strong understanding of the automotive environment.

We’re working with a global automotive services organisation supporting leading vehicle manufacturers and dealer networks across Europe. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to appoint an experienced Field Service Engineer / Technical Delegate to support complex diagnostics and reduce vehicle downtime across the network.

🔧 The Role

You’ll be delivering on-site and remote technical support to dealerships and authorised repairers, resolving complex electrical and electronic faults, supporting first-time-right repairs, and feeding technical insight back into engineering and quality teams.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve complex vehicle faults (electrical, electronic, multiplexed systems)

Use OEM diagnostic tools for guided diagnostics, ECU programming, coding, and software updates

Support multiple sites across the UK and Europe, both on-site and remotely

Analyse systemic issues and define corrective actions

Produce clear technical reports and case documentation

Coach technicians and provide on-the-job training

Support technical assistance processes and KPI-driven case management

👤 About You

Strong background in automotive diagnostics, field service, OEM/importer technical support, or dealership workshops

Confident with advanced fault-finding, CAN/LIN/FlexRay networks, and modern vehicle systems

Hands-on experience with OEM diagnostic platforms (e.g. wiTECH, DiagBOX, or similar)

Comfortable working autonomously in the field and managing multiple cases

Strong communication and technical reporting skills
