Today we've been celebrating by getting out and about and talking to people all about ARCh! We had stalls at Bicester's Friday market and Oxford's Gloucester Green market- it's been lovely to see the market places thriving and having the opportunity to talk to people about the work we do here at ARCh. As we continue to celebrate , today we want to take a moment to recognise our wonderful Trustees.

The impact trustees have on a charity is immeasurable, and we are lucky to have an amazing group of supportive, dedicated Trustees here at ARCh. Our Trustees generously give their time, skills, experience, and passion to help guide the ARCh mission, support our team, and ensure we can continue making a difference for the people and communities we serve.

So, to our current Trustees and those who have been Trustees with us over the past 18 years- thank you! Thank you for all of your guidance, commitment and support to helping inspire children across Oxfordshire to love reading.

Today marks the start of Volunteers' Week, and we want to take a moment to celebrate and thank the incredible people who make ARCh possible.

Our 260 volunteers- our amazing ARCh Reading Helpers- give their time, energy, patience and enthusiasm to support children with their reading. Their commitment helps children to build confidence, develop their resilience, and give them the skills to enjoy reading in school and beyond.

Simply put, our volunteers are brilliant! They are the heart of ARCh and the reason we can help so many children discover the joy of reading and achieve their potential.

To every one of our volunteers: thank you. Your dedication changes lives, one child, one session and one book at a time.

We can't believe we're almost at the final term of the year already! We want to wish all of our volunteers, schools and children a very happy half term- thank you for all of your hard work and dedication so far this year. Enjoy the sunshine!

Our main office is closed over half term but our Recruitment Manager Emma is on hand to respond to any queries or requests, please do get in touch with her if you need anything ARCh related over the next week.
