🎬 Work behind the scenes on a well-known ITV production
Looking for a chef role that’s a bit different from the usual kitchen environment?
We’re looking for an experienced Freelance Second Chef to join our friendly catering team on an as and when required basis, feeding cast and crew on a busy TV production in Leeds.
£150 - 165 per day
We work Monday to Friday
Early starts = early finishes
Long-term potential opportunity available
You’ll be working alongside an experienced Head Chef in a fast-paced but supportive environment, helping deliver high-quality meals to hardworking TV crews.
The role includes:
• Preparing fresh salads and cold dishes
• Supporting hot food prep and service
• Helping maintain high kitchen standards
• Working as part of a professional and friendly team
We’re looking for someone who is:
• An experienced chef
• Reliable and comfortable with early starts
• Positive, hardworking, and a team player
• Able to travel to site (own transport essential)

🚛 AD-HOC HGV / 7.5 TONNE DRIVER WANTED – OXFORDSHIRE 🚛

£15.00 per hour + expenses

Rose Catering is looking for a reliable HGV / 7.5 tonne driver to join our team on an ad-hoc basis, helping to move our mobile catering kitchen trucks to and from film, TV, event and construction locations around the UK.

About Rose Catering
Rose Catering is an established, family-run location catering company with over 30 years' experience providing catering for film and television productions, events and large-scale projects across the UK. We operate our own fleet of purpose-built mobile catering kitchens and support vehicles.

The Role
This is a flexible, ad-hoc position rather than a fixed-hours role. Work will be offered as and when our catering kitchens need moving between our Oxfordshire base, locations and garages.

Duties will include:
Driving our 7.5 tonne mobile kitchen trucks to and from locations
Collecting and returning vehicles to our Oxfordshire base
Taking vehicles to and from garages for inspections, servicing, maintenance and repairs
Carrying out the required driver/vehicle checks
Ensuring vehicles are driven safely and responsibly
Working flexibly around production and location schedules

What We're Looking For
Applicants must:
Hold the appropriate entitlement to drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle (C1) – including drivers who retain C1 grandfather rights
Have a valid driving licence and be confident driving larger vehicles
Be reliable, punctual and flexible
Be comfortable with occasional early starts, late finishes and longer-distance journeys
Ideally be based within a reasonable travelling distance of Bicester, Oxfordshire

Pay: £15.00 per hour + agreed expenses

This could suit an experienced HGV driver looking for additional occasional work, or someone with C1 entitlement who would like flexible driving work alongside other commitments.

Rose Catering is looking for an experienced and highly accurate Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant to support our main Bookkeeper and help keep our accounts fully up to date.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is confident using QuickBooks, works well independently and has an excellent eye for detail.

Key responsibilities include:

✔ Inputting and maintaining financial transactions in QuickBooks
✔ Bank, credit card and petty cash reconciliations
✔Correctly coding and allocating transactions
✔Using QuickBooks reporting functions and cost centres
✔ Identifying and resolving discrepancies
✔ Ensuring accounts are accurate and up to date for sales invoicing and reporting
✔ General bookkeeping and finance administration

We’re looking for someone who:

✔ Has strong practical QuickBooks experience – essential
✔ Has previous bookkeeping/accounts experience
✔ Is highly accurate, organised and methodical
✔ Can work efficiently and independently
✔ Is confident with reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
✔ Ideally has experience within the catering or hospitality industry
