The most consequential mistake stylists make has nothing to do with skill. ✂️
It concerns length. Too often, a scissor is chosen for its presence rather than its fit, a longer blade that feels commanding at first, then places real strain on the wrist across a full day of clients.
We advise every stylist to hold a scissor open before any other consideration. If the hand carries tension in that position, the length is wrong, regardless of appearance.
Comfort in the grip is what allows precision to be fully expressed.
