⭐️ The End of an Era. The Beginning of Something New. ⭐️

A collection of photographs can capture moments, but they’ll never truly capture the journey.

It all began a few weeks after having my second child, in Manchester Airport with Dave Kershaw, Rob Fisk and Len Kershaw. Looking back now, it’s incredible to think that one conversation would lead to 14 unforgettable years.

What followed was so much more than a career. It was a journey of hope, learning, ambition, resilience and pride. There were highs I’ll never forget, challenges that taught me more than I ever expected, and milestones that once seemed impossible.

One of my greatest privileges was building and growing Keenan Recruitment. Winning three major public sector contracts within the first year trading. Watching an idea become a respected business, supporting clients, creating opportunities for candidates, and building an incredible team is something I’ll always be immensely proud of. It has been a huge part of my life journey and one I’ll forever look back on with gratitude.

But above everything else, it’s the people I’ll remember.

To Dave, Rob and my fellow Hilton Lord team, associates, colleagues, and friends – thank you. Thank you for the encouragement, the laughter, the support, the belief, and the friendships that have become some of the strongest bonds I’ve made throughout my career. You’ve each played a part in this story, and I’ll always be grateful for that.

Every ending makes way for a new beginning.

As this chapter closes, I do so with a full heart and immense gratitude for everything these past 14 years have given me. They’ve shaped who I am, both professionally and personally, and I’ll carry those lessons and memories with me into whatever comes next.

Now, it’s time to turn the page!!

I’m incredibly excited for my next challenge and can’t wait to share it with you all.

Contract up to 6 months with possibility of extension.

£24.41 per hour.

Criteria:

✅ Possess a university degree level qualification or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject (e.g. ICT, Systems Development, Computing)
AND
✅ Have at least 2 years’ experience in a Systems Manager role.

OR

Keenan Recruitment has been retained to recruit an Accounts Administrator on behalf of a successful and expanding business based in Newtownards.

About You:
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys taking ownership of their work.

You'll ideally have:

✅ At least one year's experience in an accounts or finance environment
✅ Experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger or Finance Administration role
✅ Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
✅ Experience using Xero (or similar accounting software)
✅ Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
✅ The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
✅ Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach

The main responsibilities include assessment of Belfast Trust staff experiencing psychological difficulties or work-related stress, brief psychological intervention under supervision of a qualified practitioner and supporting the team in research, audit, and service development projects,

Criteria:

✅ First or Upper Second Honours degree or other higher degree in psychology which confers eligibility for graduate membership of the British Psychological Society.

✅ Minimum of 3 months’ experience accrued over the last 2 years as an Assistant Psychologist in a paid or voluntary capacity. Applications will also be considered from those who have worked under the direct supervision of a qualified psychologist, in a relevant clinical setting.
