As part of our Hotel Academy, in partnership with Derry City & Strabane District Council Labour Market Partnership, participants recently completed barista training with Antonio from Salumeria Mariuccia. ☕

The sessions provided a hands on introduction to café service and were well received by all involved. Antonio shared his expertise and gave valuable insight into customer service, coffee knowledge, drink preparation, equipment handling and hygiene, grinding techniques, milk skills, and the basics of latte art.

Each participant had the opportunity to put their learning into practice by making their own coffee, building confidence and practical skills in a real café environment.

Game on!! 🃏🎲🏓

Our Omagh Social Group recently enjoyed a fantastic evening of games and friendly competition with Nicola from All Things Games.

From classic board games to fast paced tabletop challenges, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The session was filled with laughter, conversation and plenty of opportunities to connect with others in a fun and welcoming environment.

A huge thank you to Nicola for creating such an engaging and inclusive experience. We had a brilliant time and are already looking forward to the next session!

Last week, we were delighted to partner with Women in Banking and Finance NI at Deloitte's stunning space in Belfast for a real conversation about inclusive leadership in the workplace.

Claire McCleery from JAM Card sat alongside Michael McMurray (Deloitte) and Nuala Mc Stravick (NOW Group) with Siobhan Moran chairing, to explore how we can all take small, meaningful steps to create workplaces where everyone feels seen and supported including those with hidden disabilities.

The energy in the room was fantastic, and the conversations that carried on after the panel finished showed just how much this topic matters to people across Northern Ireland's business community.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, to our brilliant co-hosts WIBF NI and Deloitte for making it happen and to Loaf Catering and Cafes for breakfast. 🙌

• Health & Social Care Awareness – key responsibilities, communication, and safe working practices
• Person-Centred Support – promoting dignity, choice, and independence

At NOW Group, we provide flexible, accredited training in a supportive learning environment, helping people develop the skills and confidence needed to progress into employment. NOW Group's Extended Table Ambassadors reached an exciting milestone as three pupils from three different schools came together for their first joint training session.

The session gave the ambassadors an opportunity to get to know one another while completing First Aid training, delivered by Frances from SR Training NI. It was a fantastic start, with everyone showing great enthusiasm and commitment throughout the day. Following the training, the group enjoyed lunch at Loaf Catering and Cafes.

This is the beginning of an exciting journey for our ambassadors, who will go on to share their experiences, advocate for themselves and others, and help shape the future of Extended Table. We look forward to seeing them grow in confidence and make a positive impact in their communities. 👏

Participants in Dublin recently completed a 5 week Music Production Course after expressing an interest in careers in music, including singing, rapping and music production. 🎵

Delivered in partnership with Calvin Sweeney and the non-profit 1Unlimited, the course introduced participants to music production using Ableton software, helping them develop new creative and technical skills in a supportive learning environment.

Participants can now progress to intermediate and advanced courses, with opportunities to take part in masterclasses led by established DJs and music producers, as well as future studio based experiences.

It has been fantastic to see the enthusiasm and engagement from the participants who took part. A big thank you to Calvin and the Dublin team for helping make this opportunity possible. 👏👏
