The role will involve:

Recording incoming and outgoing vehicles using digital weighing software
Maintaining accurate records and paperwork
Communicating with the onsite operational team
Ensuring site procedures and relevant regulations are followed

No previous experience? No problem! Full training will be provided.

We're looking for someone who is reliable, organised, willing to learn and able to work well as part of a team.

LNS Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Deckhand to join a vessel docked at Padstow Harbour.

📍 Location: Padstow, Cornwall
📅 Start: Tomorrow or Saturday
⏳ Duration: Minimum 1 week, with the potential for 2 weeks
💷 Rate: £18.00 per hour
⏰ Hours: Minimum 12 hours paid per day
✅ Travel to Padstow paid
✅ Accommodation provided (staying onboard the vessel while in harbour)
✅ Daily food allowance paid

Project Details:

* 14 consecutive shifts
* Working aboard a 15m workboat
* Duties include safety boat operations and personnel transfers
* Opportunity for the skipper to start one day earlier for vessel orientation

Requirements

Skipper:

* Minimum RYA Advanced Powerboat qualification
* Relevant experience operating workboats

Deckhand:

* Valid STCW
* Current ENG1 Medical

✅ Requirements:

* Must hold a valid CSCS card
* Relevant NPTC certification or similar required
* Operatives can be either already inducted on Sizewell C or non-inducted as we can arrange vetting.

🔧 Role Details:

* Ongoing works – minimum 3 months+
* Weekends available

💰 Rates & Benefits:

* Rates negotiable
* Time and a half on Saturdays
* Double time on Sundays
* Expenses available for travel and lodge
