Looking to build a career in customs and logistics? We’re hiring a Trainee Customs Documentation Clerk for a full-time role based in Basildon (SS14).
🕘 Monday – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm
📍 Basildon (SS14)
💷 Up to £24,000 (depending on age & experience)
⏳ 37.5 hours per week
🔍 What we’re looking for:
✔️ Minimum 1 year office experience
✔️ Excellent attention to detail – must be super thorough!
✔️ GCSEs at Grade 5 or above
✔️ Stable employment history
➕ Experience in transport/logistics/freight forwarding is a big plus
🚗 A driver with own transport is preferred (unless you're walking distance from SS14)
📑 Please note: A DBS check will be carried out at offer stage (must come back clear).

Immediate start ‼️Temp to permanent position £15 per hour plus overtime pay.
As you will be delivering and installing white goods training will be provided.
Duties;
• The role will involve delivering appliances in a 2 person crew to customers homes. As this will include heavy lifting some level of fitness would be beneficial.
• Ideally we are looking for applicants who are flexible to work weekends but no Sundays
• Approx 10 drops per shift.
• Average of 45hrs per week
• Shifts start at 06:15am

What you will need :
• Full UK driving licence with a minimum of C1 entitlement .
• A Current CPC and Tacho card with up-to-date knowledge of legislations.
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• Previous multi- drop experience is desirable .
