It’s not our end of town … but we think it is really important for Bangoras a whole. So if you can please write to Nichola Mallon and express your frustration.
Back Queen’s Parade
At this evening’s Council meeting Elected Members unanimously restated their support for the regeneration of Queen’s Parade and their frustration at the decision by the Department for Infrastructure to hold up Bangor Marine’s planning application.
Councillors are calling on the Infrastructure Minister to attend a meeting of the Council to explain the Department’s actions and listen to local concerns about the impact.
Elected Members for the Bangor Central area are going to Stormont on Monday to further lobby the Minister on the issue.
If you are a Bangor resident or business and back the Queen's Parade development, you may be interested in writing to the Minister for Infrastructure, Nichola Mallon, asking her to support the Council’s decision on the planning application; to simply return the planning application to the Council and to secure this critical £50M investment for Bangor.
