Rutledge Recruitment is seeking experienced Butchers to join a busy meat-processing facility in Carrickfergus.

📍 Location: Carrickfergus industrial area
⏰ Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
💷 Pay: Dependent on experience

The role:

🔪 Boning, cutting and trimming beef and deer
✅ Maintaining quality and production standards
🦺 Following food hygiene and Health & Safety procedures

You’ll need:

✔️ Previous butchery or meat-processing experience
✔️ Strong knife skills
✔️ Boning-line experience desirable
✔️ Reliable and hardworking

⭐ Immediate starts available
💰 Weekly Friday pay
💷 Enhanced overtime after 40 hours
🚗 Free on-site parking

We are looking for a Maintenance Operative to join an established care facility in the Ballymena town area on an ongoing basis.

📍 Location: Ballymena town area
⏰ Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
💷 Pay: £16.00 per hour

The role:

General maintenance and upkeep throughout the care facility
Painting and decorating
Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance
Maintaining communal areas and facilities
Identifying and reporting maintenance issues
Supporting the wider team with general upkeep
Following Health & Safety procedures

You’ll need:

Previous maintenance, property or general upkeep experience desirable
Practical and hands-on approach
Good attention to detail
Reliable and punctual
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Good understanding of Health & Safety

⭐ Ongoing position
💰 Weekly Friday pay
📅 Monday–Friday daytime hours

Rutledge Recruitment is looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to provide ad hoc, holiday and busy-period cover for a company based in the Ballymena area.

The role:
🚚 Drive a 30ft rigid Class 2 vehicle
📦 Approx. 15–20 deliveries per day across Northern Ireland
💪 Loading, unloading & manual handling with a helper
⏰ Approx. 8–10 hours per day, typically finishing between 2pm–4pm
📅 Monday to Friday

What you’ll need:
✅ Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
✅ CPC up to date
✅ Active Digi Card
✅ 6–12 months+ relevant HGV driving experience
✅ Maximum 3 points on your licence
✅ Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
✅ Reliable and trustworthy

The role will include picking and packing orders, loading and unloading goods, barcode scanning, pallet wrapping and operating warehouse equipment within a fast-paced chilled environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager or Registered Manager looking to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of a care home, leading an established team and maintaining high standards of care and resident wellbeing.

💷 £18.70 per hour
⏰ 36 hours per week
📅 Flexible working pattern – 3 full days OR 5 short days
💰 Weekly pay every Friday
🏡 Temp-to-perm opportunity

What we’re looking for:
✅ NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
✅ Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager
✅ Strong knowledge of RQIA requirements and inspection standards
✅ Confident leadership and team management skills
✅ Experience within residential care or a similar setting
✅ Enhanced AccessNI check required before starting
