Made in Ashford 10 year community arts retrospective featuring a selection of work created for and with the community by our collaborative arts organisation over the last decade.

Made in Ashford has been a creative force in the Ashford landscape since this collaborative artists & makers shop began in 2015. We have just celebrated our 10th anniversary so the team wanted to hold a retrospectuive exhibition to showcase all of the wonderful community art projects our organisation has been involved in over the decade.

A pair of our directors are working on a mural project in Herne Bay independently of Made in Ashford in their freelance artist roles. Some of our team have been down to help, especially those with links to the Bay.

This beautiful mural is a collaboration between Herne Bay born & bred Melissa Dawkins and serial muralist Danielle Williamson . They have combined skills honed on community projects with us & beyond to fulfil this mural commissioned by Canterbury City Council

First Ashford Artists Meet Up!

It is very exciting to announce we have our first meet up at the Hothouse, Coachworks on Weds 19th August 26 from 8pm - 10pm, it is FREE.

Expect a very chill meet up and chat with fellow creatives with a small creative activity you can choose to participate in - this meet up we will making zines based on our art/artistic practice/favourite artist. You can also bring an art piece for our mini pop up gallery for the evening to share with the group if you want to.
