Candidates are required to have held their HGV licence for a minimum of 6 months due to insurance purposes**

Requirements:

- Positive working attitude
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients
- Good knowledge of Working Time Directive & Driving hours

We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced LGV Mechanic to join our team in Lydd, Kent. If you’re a skilled technician who takes pride in keeping vehicles roadworthy and compliant, this is a great opportunity to join a stable and growing operation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance on LGV/HGV vehicles
• Completing PMI inspections to DVSA standards
• Preparing vehicles for MOT inspections
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently
• Ensuring all work meets safety and compliance requirements
• Keeping accurate maintenance and inspection records

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as an LGV/HGV Mechanic or Technician
• Strong mechanical knowledge and fault-finding ability
• Ability to work independently and manage workload
• Good attention to detail and a proactive mindset
• LGV Licence (Class 1 or 2) – desirable, not essential
