🚨 DUE TO UNPRECEDENTED DEMAND – WE'VE RELEASED MORE TICKETS! 🚨

The response to the Aero Legends Battle of Britain Airshow at RAF Woodchurch has been incredible.

Thanks to the amazing efforts of our dedicated events team, we've been able to review our parking arrangements and make some changes across the site. As a result, we're delighted to release a very limited number of additional:

🎟️ General Admission Tickets
πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ Family Tickets
β™Ώ Disabled Parking Passes

These are the final tickets we'll be able to release, so once they're gone, they're gone.

We're also incredibly honoured to welcome (on Sat) Flt Lt Colin Bell DFC AE, aged 105, the last surviving RAF Mosquito combat pilot. Along with D-Day Veteran Henry Rice and RAF and Guinness World Record Breaker for oldest man to do a Wingwalk - Harry Heasman. Meeting these WW2 Veterans is a truly rare opportunity to meet some of the remarkable men who helped shape our history.

To everyone who has bought a ticket, shared our posts, booked a trade stand, signed up to our fantastic 1940s living history area, brought along military vehicles, joined us as re-enactors, recommended the event to friends and family, or supported us in any way, thank you.

A very special thank you also goes to the incredible Aero Legends volunteers. Every person you'll see helping to run the event throughout the weekend is giving up their own time to make it happen. From the car parks and gates to the flightline and attractions, this event simply wouldn't be possible without your dedication, enthusiasm and hard work.

Together, everyone involved has helped us create what promises to be an unforgettable weekend, with spectacular displays both in the air and on the ground, all brought together in an incredibly short space of time.

We can't wait to welcome you to RAF Woodchurch this weekend.

THE LAST MOSQUITO PILOT

We are extraordinarily proud to announce that Flight Lieutenant Colin Bell DFC AE will be joining us on Saturday 8th Aug at the Aero Legends Battle of Britain Airshow, RAF Woodchurch.

At 105 years old, Colin is the last surviving RAF pilot to have flown the de Havilland Mosquito in combat. The last one.

He joined the RAF in 1940 and trained in America before the United States had even entered the war. In 1944 he was flying the "Wooden Wonder" with 608 Squadron, part of Bomber Command's Pathfinder Force, 50 operations over Germany, 13 of them to Berlin, at a time when very few crews reached 30.

He never received his RAF wings during the war. He was finally presented with them in 2018, aged 97. And in March this year, His Majesty The King welcomed him to St James's Palace to present him with the citation for the Distinguished Flying Cross he was awarded in 1945.

Colin will be with us on Saturday, signing copies of his memoir that are available to purchase. A chance to shake the hand of the last man alive to have taken a Mosquito over Berlin.

There will not be another opportunity like this.

HOLD THE FRONT PAGE

A BIG HEAVY is joining the flying display... and she truly is a very rare legend indeed!

Ladies and gentlemen, hold onto your headset Sally B, the UK's only airworthy Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, will be gracing our skies at the Aero Legends Battle of Britain Airshow, RAF Woodchurch this Saturday 8th August! ✈️

Built in the closing days of WWII and named in tribute to the wartime "Memphis Belle" (she even starred alongside her in the 1990 film!), Sally B has spent over 50 years keeping the memory of the brave men of the USAAF alive in the skies of Europe. Four Wright Cyclone radial engines. A silhouette that changed history. A survivor of an era when giants ruled the air.

She is one of the last of her kind still able to fly, there are fewer than 10 B-17s left airworthy anywhere in the world! For Saturday 8th August only, she's flying for you.

⚠️ Saturday is close to selling out and only 10 Spitfire Enclosure tickets remain! If you want the best seats in the house for this once-in-a-lifetime flypast, now is the time to book.

🎟️ Book now before they're gone.
