Our Client are a unique blend, with a 10 year-old presence in Fradley Park, Lichfield, a pioneering company with ambitions to grow and share their passion. Following a decade of ongoing investment and development they are looking for Production Operatives and Machine Operators to join their team offering excellent salary of £30,600 per annum.
Job Specification - Production Operative with FLT licence
· To be aware of products to be run at the start of each shift and ensure the correct labels are available.
· To ensure specification sheet is followed at all times.
· Ensure all bottling is conducted in accordance with Company hygiene requirements.
· Feed all line equipment with required materials.
· Participate in line equipment changes as required.
· Identify and rectify basic faults.
· Ensure that the bottling equipment is maintained; feed machines with materials and undertake changeover for new SKUs.
· Highlight any consumable shortages to avoid unnecessary downtime.
· Ensure daily production programme is completed in the most efficient or priority order and react to any changes in the programme.
· To assist in the training of other colleagues.
The ideal candidates will possess:
· Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable although training is provided
· Self-motivated, dedicated, resourceful, adaptable and flexible
· Team player with good communication
· Punctual
· Possess a good level of literacy and numeracy
· Ability to work 12-hour Day and Night shifts (0500-1700 / 1700-0500) 3 on 3 off basis
The Benefits - Production Operative
· Salary equivalent £30,600 with OTE up to £40,000 per annum
o Saturday and 4th shift paid £15.15 Days and £20.20 Nights
o Sunday shift paid at £17.17 Days and £22.22 Nights
