A throwback to Tuesday, where we attended the SEN Conference 2026 in Leeds.

It was a valuable day spent learning more about trauma-informed practice and why it must sit at the heart of effective SEND support.

Drama Therapy uses creative expression, movement, role play, and storytelling to help children explore and understand their emotions.

It’s particularly beneficial for pupils with SEND, supporting:

✨ Self-awareness – understanding personal experiences and emotions
🤝 Social connection – strengthening relationships and empathy

In a Drama Therapy session, imagination becomes a tool for healing, expression, and growth.
