A major data centre campus could be coming to Little Bollington, near Altrincham.
Innova is proposing a 60-hectare site that could support around 350 full-time jobs once operational. It’s still at the consultation stage, but it’s an exciting prospect for the North West’s data centre sector.
Projects of this scale need skilled people across fibre, structured cabling, containment, rack and stack, security systems and site management. That’s exactly the talent we work with at Bauhaus Recruitment.

Every year we see the same thing: leaving it until the last minute to find experienced data cabling engineers, only to discover availability is limited.

Our advice is simple:
✅ Secure your engineers 1–2 weeks in advance.
✅ If needed, keep them busy on another project until your school works begin.
✅ Avoid paying premium rates or risking delays.

Whether you need engineers with Standard or Enhanced DBS, planning ahead gives you the best chance of getting the right team for your project.
