Employee sickness absence worries? Referrals to me are easy to arrange and can usually be carried out within 3 days. Contact me on 07864 006850 or email me at [email protected] and I will send you a referral form and an employee leaflet. Then all you need to do, is complete the referral form with your employee, email it back to me and I will make the appointment. I do not require consent to write to the GP.

Does your company have a budget for sickness not health? Stop pulling employees out of the river. Take action to stop them jumping in. Work with Occupational Health to look at your trends and identify the reasons why your employees are off sick.
Be proactive.

Refer to Occupational Health before employees are off so that you can keep them in work rather than trying to bring them back after a lengthy absence.

It’s Neurodiversity Celebration Week! 🌟

Today we are highlighting Dyscalculia.

Dyscalculia is a neurodivergence which is characterised by difficulties with mathematics and numerical symbols, particularly arithmetic.

This condition can make mathematics difficult for individuals in different ways, including (but not limited to):
• Difficulty counting backwards
• Poor sense of numbers and an inability to estimate
• Difficulty understanding arithmetic
• Poor recall of numbers-based facts

It is believed that Dyscalculia affects up to 5% of people across the UK. It is important to know that dyscalculia is not related to intelligence or cognitive ability, and while many might struggle with numbers they often excel in other areas.
