We have both met many families in Paris who felt the same, and were left unsatisfied with the level of qualification of proposed candidates, as well as the level of personnalisation and compassion from agencies. An Irish mother is looking for a bilingual anglophone/francophone nanny to care for her 3yo girl. The mother is looking for a reliable and caring nanny who can take care of her daughter after school, and who is looking for a full-time role: someone who can become an important part of their life and who can help in case of emergencies during the day e.g. if the child gets sick at school.

The scheduled hours will be Mon - Fri 15h - 22h.
During the vacation periods, the nanny will be required to work four out of the sixteen weeks off school Mon - Fri - 9h - 19h. Travelling with the family will not be necessary. The nanny will be entitled to 5 weeks paid leave per year.

AFTER-SCHOOL ANGLOPHONE NANNY IN NEUILLY-SUR-SEINE - SEPTEMBER 2023

A French family is looking for an anglophone nanny to care for their bilingual 6yo boy and 3yo girl. The parents are looking for someone that is able to work alongside them to care for the children and ensure they are happy and safe. They will be relocating from London back to Paris over the summer.

The nanny will be responsible for collecting the children from school and accompanying them to their extracurricular activities and sports. It is essential that the nanny use their experience and skills to help the children continue to improve their skills in English through quality literature, games and conversation.

The scheduled hours will be Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 15h20 - 19h & Wed 11h -19h. She will arrive 45 mins earlier than the school finishing time to prepare dinner for the children, including time to go to the school.

An American family, who have recently relocated to France, are looking for a French-speaking nanny for their 12yo girl and 8yo boy. The children attend a bilingual school and the primary focus of the position is to increase the children’s exposure in French.

The nanny will be responsible for picking up the children from school, taking them to their after-school activities, supervising homework, preparing dinner and bath-time. The family would like someone that can teach the children French through tutoring and games/activities.

The scheduled hours will be Mon to Fri from 7h30h-8h (if possible) & 16h-19h30. During school holidays, the nanny will work Mon to Fri from 9h-19h. Travelling with the family is not required when the parents are on vacation.

HOLIDAY BILINGUAL NANNY IN PARIS, REIMS (FR) & MILAN (IT) - MAY/JUNE 2023

An Australian family is looking for a bilingual, French nanny for their 9yo and 1.5yo boys. The family will be staying in Paris (8 nights) and Reims (5 nights). The nanny will have one week off then meet the family in Milan (6 nights).

The nanny will be responsible for the care of the children - playing with them, assisting in the preparation of meals, changing nappies, putting the children to sleep and general tidying up after games and meals. The nanny will sometimes care for one child, sometimes both, and there will days when the family will ask the nanny to join them in their day-to-day activities.

The nanny should be adaptable to a flexible schedule. The scheduled hours will vary each day and be 8-12 hours each day, depending on what the family has planned.

Accommodation can be provided in Reims and Milan but not in Paris. Therefore, it is preferred that the candidate lives in Paris.

HOLIDAY BILINGUAL NANNY IN PARIS 5ÈME - MARCH 31ST TO APRIL 13TH

An American family is looking for a bilingual nanny (French/English) for their 8 yo boy and 4 yo girl. The family is visiting from the US but have a second home here in Paris.

The nanny will be responsible for the care of the children. The parents may be working from home and externally throughout the day. The nanny will spend time with the children, taking them to the park (closest is the Jardin du Luxembourg), feeding them snacks, and speaking some French to them. The nanny should be proactive in finding activities or places to visit with the children in Paris for outings during the day.

The children are native English speakers, but are learning Beginner French, so the nanny should be bilingual. The family are looking for someone who can play with them in the apartment but also take them on outings out-and-about.

The scheduled hours will vary each day and be between 6 to 8 hours per day.

An international family, residing in a garden house in Le Vésinet (8min walk from the RER station), are looking for an English-speaking nanny for their 7yo and 5yo boys. The family is also expecting their third child in April 2023.

The mother will be on maternity leave until September, mostly caring for the baby. From September, the family will hire an au pair who will assist the nanny in her work (supervising the children during bath time etc), though the nanny will remain the primary caregiver.

The nanny will be responsible for picking up the children from school, driving them to their after-school activities and supervising homework and bath-time. The nanny will cook dinner for the children each night which will be prepared before the children finish school to ensure the children are the nanny’s primary focus when they are home.
