Élue European Hotel Manager of the Year par l'European Hotel Managers Association en 2023, elle est reconnue pour son leadership centré sur l'humain, son excellence opérationnelle et sa capacité à créer des expériences client exceptionnelles.
Dans ses nouvelles fonctions, elle entend tisser des liens forts avec les communautés locales. Cette nomination s'inscrit dans la stratégie du groupe, « Transform Mandarin Oriental and Unfold Our Potential ».

A native Dutch hotelier with more than 30 years of luxury hospitality leadership experience, she joins the group with deep knowledge of Amsterdam's luxury hospitality market. Named European Hotel Manager of the Year by the European Hotel Managers Association in 2023, she is recognised for her people-focused leadership, operational excellence and ability to create exceptional guest experiences.
In her new role, she will foster strong connections with local communities. The appointment is part of the group's strategy to "Transform Mandarin Oriental and Unfold Our Potential."
