Golden Goose Recruitment is excited to present a wonderful opportunity for a Chief Stew seeking a new adventure and challenge in 2025.

A long-standing client is looking for an experienced and passionate Chief Stew to assist with the final months of a new-build 55m M/Y yacht currently nearing completion in the shipyard before heading to sea.

We are searching for a candidate with previous experience in yacht setup, coupled with a keen eye for detail and expertise in ensuring every aspect is perfectly prepared to welcome the yacht’s first guests.

The ideal candidate must have fluent or strong English skills to ensure effective communication with the captain and crew. Additional languages are highly valued. A proven track record of professionalism, precision, and dedication in similar roles is essential.

The position begins in January 2025, allowing candidates to enjoy the festive season before starting. However, an earlier start date is possible for those available sooner. The yacht will operate in the Mediterranean throughout the summer season before returning to the shipyard. The role can be seasonal or permanent, depending on the candidate’s preference. However, the client requires the Chief Stew to remain onboard until the end of the summer season at a minimum.

Golden Goose Recruitment's longstanding client seeks a dynamic and seasoned candidate to join them in New York City for a 2-month period, extending their stay before their summer return to Europe.

The role entails collaborating with an established team to maintain the highest standards of service for the client and their guests. It is a hands-on position, working closely with the butler's guidance and alongside another hostess on a 6-day week basis to meet these expectations.

Our client specifically seeks a candidate with Chief Stew experience, as they aspire to maintain this level of operation during their residence. Additional service skills, particularly in flower arranging, are highly desirable.

The position commences immediately and concludes on June 9th. Separate accommodation, conveniently located a 5-minute walk from the property, is provided, along with covered return travel expenses. The compensation package is competitive and will be discussed with successful applicants.

Golden Goose Recruitment is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and experienced traveling butler to join a family based in Cyprus.

The role involves a 50/50 split between traveling with the family and managing their property in Cyprus. There you will oversee the property and the existing team, ensuring the highest level of service and care for the principal and their guests.

We welcome applicants with a proven track record in similar butler roles and properties. Additionally, experienced chief stews or luxury chalet managers will be considered for this position.

The client prefers the candidate to start by or before the beginning of April, but for an ideal applicant completing a previous contract, they are willing to wait until the beginning of May.

As this is a permanent position in Cyprus, all interested candidates must have an EU passport or residency and the right to work in Cyprus. Unfortunately, applications without these requirements will not be pursued.

Golden Goose Recruitment is actively searching for a skilled and passionate host to seamlessly step into this crucial role working alongside the rest of the established team, as the chalet is fully booked for the remainder of the season. We require candidates with a background in luxury chalets, villas, or yachts, ensuring a strong understanding of the day-to-day operations of a luxury chalet.

The package is negotiable for the ideal candidate, and an immediate start is preferred. The position is expected to continue until the conclusion of the winter season, approximately around the end of April.

For the Live-In Manager role, proven experience in maintaining luxury properties is imperative. A positive and can-do attitude is essential, with no task considered too small. The role encompasses preparing the property and ensuring the smooth organization of the household for the principals and their guests, demanding a flexible and personal approach.

Regarding the Live-Out Housekeeper/Cook role, we are in search of a candidate who can collaborate with the Housekeeper Manager to uphold daily cleaning standards at the highest level and provide family-style meals for the residents and their children. Simple yet tasty food using seasonal ingredients suited to the time of year is crucial, enabling the family to enjoy a delightful meal together after a long day.
