Homemade with love… ❤️ 🍒Cherry and vanilla pie, served warm with vanilla bean ice cream, fresh out of Dave’s Kitchen in your private villa, Son Balagueret, Son Bunyola Mallorca.

And honestly… these cherries are having their moment. Big, glossy, ridiculously juicy, and almost unfairly delicious right now. The kind of fruit that steals the show and turns a simple pie into something a little bit special (and very hard to stop eating).

Safe to say our guests didn’t leave a crumb!!! 🤣

I’d like to introduce you to the other half of my brain — our wonderful Operations Coordinator, Marzena. 💙

Earlier this year, I made the decision to bring someone on board to help with our event coordination and client communication. Since then, Marzena has taken on an entire account herself, looking after every detail, communicating seamlessly with the villas, and building lovely relationships with everyone who works there. She has taken a huge amount of work off my plate, helping me in so many more ways than I ever thought possible.

I am especially grateful because I had an unexpected surgery right at the beginning of the season. It meant I couldn’t work at my full capacity, lift anything, or carry anything heavy. I honestly wouldn’t have made it this far into the season without her support.

Marzena treats her job like she owns the business. Her intelligence, her passion, and the incredible care she gives to every single one of our clients is something I am so thankful for — and I know our clients feel exactly the same way.

We are assisting our client in Banyalbufar, Mallorca, with the search for a quality Chef de Partie (could be junior or senior level).

Job details:
- Chef de partie (junior or senior)
- Immediate start
- Contract Fijo Discontinuo until the end of October
- Salary: Chef de partir junior- 30.639,40€ - bruto anual / Chef de partie senior- 33.849,25€ bruto anual
- Hours: 40 hours / week
- Working week: 5 consecutive days, with 2 days off (if you work on a festivo they try to give you the day back during the season, if not they will pay it as part of your holiday payments at the end of the contract)
- Must speak Spanish, and must have legal working and residency rights here in Mallorca.

- Jornada: 40 horas semanales
- Semana laboral: 5 días consecutivos, con 2 días libres (si trabajas en un festivo, intentan compensarlo con un día libre durante la temporada; si no, se pagará como parte de las vacaciones al final del contrato)
- Imprescindible hablar español y tener permiso legal de trabajo y residencia en Mallorca.

We popped in to pick up a few bespoke creations by the incredibly talented Austrian cake artist, Katharina — a classic yet stunning tiramisu cake and a beautiful chocolate sponge birthday cake for one very lucky 9-year-old.

We also got a glimpse behind the scenes: an elegant wedding cake coming together and a one-metre tiramisu that was nothing short of spectacular.

We always love working with Katharina — she has such a special way of bringing our clients’ ideas to life, making every celebration feel that little bit more memorable.
