🔥 🎹COPLAS EN LA LUMBRE — FÁTIMA RÜ & PABLO SUÁREZ
Hay canciones que no se escuchan: se recuerdan.
Coplas en la Lumbre vuelve a encender la voz popular para llevarla a un territorio íntimo, libre y profundamente contemporáneo. Fátima Rü y Pablo Suárez se encuentran entre coplas, romances, sones andaluces y poesía para rescatar aquello que permanece cuando todo lo demás cambia: la memoria, la raíz, el deseo, la pena, el amor.
La voz de Fátima y el piano de Pablo no reproducen la tradición: dialogan con ella, la respiran y la reinventan. Federico García Lorca, Miguel Hernández y la memoria popular conviven aquí con el flamenco, el jazz y una sensibilidad propia, desnuda y llena de matices.
Una música que viene de muy lejos para hablarnos de algo que sigue siendo nuestro.

This November, Music inFUSION International Collective co-organises the Abuja International Afrojazz Festival 2026 — alongside the Spanish Embassy in Nigeria, the Nigerian Embassy, the Institut Français, AIAF, and the international cooperation programmes AECID-ACERCA.

At the heart of it: an intensive five-day professional training programme for 25 selected established Nigerian and international music artists and professionals — industry knowledge, strategic repositioning, international market access. Followed by a professional market and a curated showcase connecting Nigerian artists directly with global promoters, festival programmers and booking agents.

So different of Jazzahead, right?

We have come back from Bremen with incredible reunions and many new connections.

But we haven’t had enough time to thank everyone who joined us this year and trusted in our collective and our ideas. That’s why this video is a way of saying thank you.
