Position Title: Chief Investment Officer
Department: Finance
Reports to: Chief Finance Officer
Key Responsibilities:
• Unlock the business value from data at enterprise level while managing the risks pertaining to data, hence transforming data into a shared asset.
• Develop an investment strategy that is as diverse as it is effective.
• Establish effective and well-organized investment processes.
• Write clear and well-informed investment recommendations based on thorough research and analysis.
• Organize regular investment reports and reviews, including quantitative and qualitative portfolio studies.
• Mitigate the total risk of each allocation to ensure the stability of (....) financial future.
• Oversee and evaluate total cash flow
• Determine which resources should be invested
• Evaluate a variety of investment options
• Identify lucrative opportunities and allocating funds accordingly
• Work with the executive team to identify investment expectations
• Suggest new strategies and advising of risks and rewards
• Ensure company compliance with all relevant investment and financial regulations
• Stay abreast of economic events that may affect company portfolio
• Collaborating with outside partners as needed (money managers, analysts, etc.)
Candidate Qualifications:
Business Knowledge & Technical Skills:
• Graduate in administrative and economic careers in finance, MBA or related from a reputable university/college in finance
• CPM (Certified Portfolio Manager), Market Risk Management training, Budget and Banking reports training
• Deep knowledge in the accounting, technical/risks and financial operations related to invested assets (insurance sector is a plus)
• IFRS knowledge is a plus, news standards related to invested assets (IFRS 39, IFRS 9)
• 10~15 Years’ Experience (min 5 years in people leader position) in Banking, Asset Management, Insurance as CIO
• Excellent knowledge and capabilities of computing tools for the development of mathematical, assets and financial planning models
• Excellent level of English required both oral and written
• Ability to create and distinguish different kinds of reports
• Excellent oral and written presentation skills
