➡️Job Description
Review the prescribed drug order and patient medication sheet for appropriateness.
Validate for the medication prepared before dispensing to the inpatient care units
Provide the advice and information related to the medication to improve prescribing to all healthcare staff and especially doctors, nurses.
Monitoring the therapeutic dose to ensure the dose appropriateness and inform the clinical pharmacist in charge for any finding.
Ensure implementation of CMC medication management policies.
Ensure prescribing medications matches CMC guidelines.
Communicate with all staff to assure patient pharmaceutical care.
Make the proper documentation for interventions
Provide drugs expenditure reports to the Pharmacy Manager.
Monitor and propose revision to pharmacy guidelines, policies and protocols when necessary.
Undertake projects or tasks requested to do so by Manager from time to time.
Act as a role model and ensure the provision of a learning environment.
Responsible for identifying educational needs of assistant pharmacists, develop programs to meet these needs and help towards their professional development.
Implement and participate in the Departmental staff induction program.
Actively participate in Staff Development and Performance review
Promote adherence to Health and Safety policies.
Co-operate with the organisation in ensuring that statutory regulations, codes of practice and other applicable health and safety rules are adhered to by all staff.

Education
degree in Pharmacy.
Current Registration with the Health Profession Council.
Experience
A minimum of one year postgraduate experience working as a Pharmacist in a complex healthcare facility.
