โข Job Description:
The Nursing director is a wearer of many hats who works with other healthcare leaders to establish policies that benefit nursing staff and improve health care.
Personnel:
The head nurse will have several head of departments nurses report into directly along with all the other nurses reporting into indirectly. The nursing director will responsible for interviewing all the nurses whether in the early stages or at later stages depending on the level of the recruitment. Moreover, the bi-annual appraisal and the end of the year of the year appraisal must be signed off. The development of all the nurses will be the nursing director responsibility as well working close by with the HR director. In addition to that she will manage nurses' vacation/sick leave/casual leave and report it to HR department according to work load.
Performance:
Also, the nursing head should plan the policy and procedures for all nursing departments and specialties. Also, to monitor all the nursing staff and ensure that all the operations are following the standard procedures and policies along with having daily meetings with the nurses before their shifts start to discuss the strengths and areas of developments and how to deliver on them for the patient benefit. She will be involved in advising senior management on best nursing practices, planning new patient services. Furthermore, high levels of interaction with the patients are required to ensure the patients are being well take care of.
Reporting:
The nursing head will be reporting into the medical director and is required to develop monthly reports discussing the progress of the nurses, future plans and initiatives. She should also be able to run audits to discuss various medical issues per required needs.

โข Job Requirements:
- Languages: Proficiency in English and Basic Arabic
- Degree: Bachelorโs degree of nursing, preferably masterโs degree
- Reference letters: minimum of 2 reference letters are required
- Gender: Female
