In 2007, the Egyptian Geophysical Society (EGS) founded Al Amal Program and made a commitment to provide Egypt’s future geoscientists the help to improve their skills in order to meet the requirements of today’s energy industry. The EGS organizes the program every year with the EPEX and SEG, sponsored by a large group of multinational petroleum companies. Today, fourteen generations of Egypt’s top
