Materials Engineers urgently required for Qatar & Saudi Arabia
A very reputable company specialized in providing engineering services in geotechnical engineering, material testing, environmental engineering, and land and marine surveying required for immediate hire in its branches in Qatar & Saudi Arabia:
Material Engineers with the following qualifications:
B.Sc. of Civil Engineering
(2 - 3 years of Exp. in Materials Engineering Field) or (Fresh graduates with excellent or very good GPA)
Duties include:
1. Receive samples from customers and ensure they are well identified and in a proper sequence.
2. Respond to customers’ inquiries concerning testing progress and reporting.
3. Prepare and initially check material testing reports prior to their submission for approval by the Materials Department Manager.
4. Follow-up laboratory tests of various construction materials including soil, aggregate, concrete, asphalt, steel, tile, kerbstone ...etc.
5. Analyze test data and conduct corrective action to prevent non-conforming products.
6. Set materials testing schedules and supervise work performed by materials testing technicians.
7. Conduct materials testing and special inspection reports and communicate results to Department Manager, client, contractor and other relevant parties.
8. Ensure tests are carried out in accordance with relevant standard test methods and according to agreed customers’ requirements.
9. Conduct analysis as required after receiving tests results from technicians, and ensure it compliance with national and international standards.
10. Ensure proper storage of received samples, maintain and record specified sample storage conditions, if any, curing and ambient temperature.
11. Ensure all site equipment and instruments are fit for use by provision of necessary resources for the implementation of calibration and maintenance programs.
