Summary of Position
The Project Coordinator/Administrator will assume responsibility for working with community stakeholders in a targeted area of Alexandria and Damietta to plan and implement project activities. Under the supervision of the Project Manager, he/she will coordinate activities and communications between the project management and the partner organization. He/she will be responsible for Coordinating project activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to Caritas and UNICEF policies, manage events' agendas, and winterization distribution.
Job Description
• Regularly meet with stakeholders in project areas to plan, coordinate and supervise the implementation of the project, according to the Project Description.
• Provide project management with quality and timely completion of project activities as per the implementation plan.
• Coordinate project activities with other team members to deliver services in designated areas, as required by project management.
• Supervise case management process in the different service providing premises in compliance with Caritas and UNICEF case management policies and procedures.
• Reorganize and automate data processing to ensure that beneficiaries’ information is obtained correctly and filed properly.
• Assist stakeholders to resolve challenges that may arise in the ex*****on of the project.
• Ensure that all aspects of project activities are fully documented and filed electronically and in hard copy in a proper way.
• Provide regular updates on the performance of the project and monthly reports to the Project Management.
• Contribute to technical and financial reports of the Project.
• Develop good working relations with all team members; exchange information and experience.
• Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager and within the scope of general responsibilities.
• Field-based working conditions (70% of the time in the field) with a desk available in Caritas Office for weekly meetings and paperwork.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in social sciences, business administration, or related area of studies.
• At least three years of experience in the development field.
• Excellent English and Arabic skills.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Able to handle several tasks simultaneously.
• Organizational skills: attentive to details.
• Excellent organization and planning skills.
• Committed to problem-solving and achieving program success.
• Able to prioritize work, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
• Diplomacy, tact, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work without close supervision.
