What’s the difference between headhunting and traditional recruitment?

Most companies rely on job ads when hiring. This works, but only to a certain point.
Many of the strongest specialists are not actively looking for a new job, so here’s where headhunting becomes relevant.

Instead of waiting for applications, the recruiter identifies suitable candidates and reaches out to them directly.
These are often people who are already performing well in their current roles and wouldn’t otherwise enter the hiring process.
