A Monday in February, 02:47 am, somewhere in Dinkelsbühl, Bavaria.

While most people were asleep, Robert got in the car.

Destination: Aachen.

Mission: welcome our new truck driver Lavan on his first day in Germany.

Five hours on the road before sunrise.

Breakfast together.

First conversations about life in Germany.

Then straight to the new employer to start the onboarding.

After that: paperwork. Local registrations. Making sure everything is in place.

Only when everything was settled, Robert got back in the car.

Five hours home.

Because at hello jobs, recruiting doesn’t end with a contract.

Sometimes recruiting creates moments that go far beyond hiring.

Recently, we supported a transport company in by placing three new for their local routes.

What we didn’t expect was the side effect: an invitation to visit, meet the team in person, and accompany part of the onboarding.

So Daniel and Robert made the trip to - not just to greet our client, but to join a private city tour led by one of our newly hired drivers on a local bus.

That’s the part of this job you can’t plan. But it’s exactly why we do what we do.
