❓Why outsource recruitment?

With the change of the global economy, hiring and recruiting the right specialists has become almost an issue. And most of the time, this issue requires even more effort, money, and recruiters to find an expert that would meet all the requirements.
So, why do proactive companies stick to outsourcing this process? What are the main benefits? Let’s analyze them together:

Stable focus on the core business
Diving into the ocean of interviews, all while trying to maintain the ongoing processes in your company, will most probably lead to burnout. So, instead of trying to manage all by yourself, it’s time to let professional recruiters do what they do best and focus on your business development.

Doing recruiting on your own is too expensive
Recruiting is not an ongoing day-to-day process. Most mid-size companies only look for new experts a few times a quarter, which means having a team of recruiters on board causes additional expenses like working place, multiple devices, etc. Outsourcing recruitment and paying a fixed price will be more effective for the company’s budget.

HRs are no recruiters
Unfortunately, loading your HR specialists with all that recruiting stuff may be ineffective and may require much more time because HR may not have all the capabilities to access multiple candidate pools at once.

There is no point in waiting till the recruitment problem is so big you don’t have the solution to fix it. It’s always better to be one step ahead.

Here is what you need to keep in mind when looking for a new job!

1. Set the career goals
Do not let that search lead you to a dead end. Instead, ask yourself first: What is my goal industry? Which position am I aiming for? What do I do to get there?

2. Don’t be lazy, do the research
Looking for a new job is not a hobby for 2 hours a week. It’s a constant activity one needs to do every day. Dedicate enough time for the search until you get at least a few interviews in a row.

3. Online resources are not a panacea
Instead of looking only at websites and social media, try to include job fairs. Talk to the hiring managers; a good old employment center can also be helpful.

4. Stick to the networking
Make it a part of your life! It’s a well-known fact that employers prefer a candidate with recommendations from someone they know rather than hire a random person found on the Internet.

5. Grow while searching
Self-education is a must today! Keep improving yourself even when looking for a job. Invest some time daily to strengthen your skills or even get new ones.

6. Keep an eye on your LinkedIn profile
We hope you know already that LI is a great networking platform and a perfect tool for job searching. Consider your profile a second resume that is always available to potential employers - update it on time and keep it profound and clear.

7. Be a detective yourself
So, you are an excellent match for that company, but does it fit you as well? When looking for a position, don’t hesitate to research the company: the salaries, their vision, and possible employee feedback.

Do they judge you by your CV?

It’s harsh to say, but yes. The first thing the recruiter sees is your CV, a little document that tells your whole life. As this crazy as it sounds, as much truth it is. In the era of remote work and Zoom calls, they no longer judge you by your clothes. It’s all binary now, 00101001 🤓

So, how do you make your resume stand out? How to impress the recruiters with the interview? Join our Individual job application training program and let us help you take the next step on the way to your dream job!

HR buzzwords from 2022, or did you miss something?

Have you heard already about quiet quitting or productivity paranoia? If not, keep on reading because we want you to keep in line with HR trends in 2023!

❓ Quiet quitting
Or quick quitting is a term that describes workers who tend to leave their job within a year or even less. 2022 was a difficult year for most people because of an uncertain economy, so constant turnover became a headache for HRs. The same thing is most likely to continue in 2023 and make employee engagement the number one issue.
❓ Boomerang employees
The grass isn’t always greener on the other side, and some of us understand it too late. Boomerang employees are specialists who leave their jobs and then return again later. However, this year the HRs are getting more loyal to those who come back - the past employees are more reliable in terms of security, business culture, and onboarding process.
❓ Productivity paranoia
With the growing trend of hybrid and remote work, managers find it more and more difficult to keep track of employees’ productivity. In fact, productivity paranoia is a paradox as the leaders always think the team is not productive enough, while the employees are sure they are doing great and sometimes even feel burnout.
❓ Quiet firing
This one is the cruelest of all terms presented above. Quiet firing is most likely to happen when a manager fails to provide the right level of coaching to the employee, doesn’t support them as a leader should, or pays not enough attention to their career development. These all lead to pushing the worker out of the company.
