A candidate from Serbia came to us after receiving a job offer from one of our partner companies in Germany.

The contract was already in place. The goal was to prepare a flawless Blue Card application while also securing a family reunification visa for her spouse.

But there were 2 potential roadblocks along the way 👀

Neither became an issue because we caught them early. Our team brings together specialists with firsthand experience at German visa centers and the German consulate. The same people who once reviewed applications now prepare application packages for our clients.

The result? A perfectly prepared application package and Blue Card approval in just 5 days 🚀🚀🚀

Visa approvals like this are not a matter of luck. They are the result of a clear strategy, attention to detail, and an insider understanding of how the system works.

We work as a one-stop shop − supporting you through every stage of your move to Germany:

✔️ job search;
✔️ visa and relocation support: Chancenkarte, Blue Card, Skilled Worker Visa, family reunification, residence permits, and mandatory health insurance;
✔️ permanent residency in Germany;
✔️ housing search − from temporary accommodation to long-term rentals.

Our team brings together immigration experts with previous experience working at German visa centers and the German consulate. Over the past 6 years, we’ve helped 600+ candidates from 39 countries successfully relocate to Germany ✈️🌍

We have a deep understanding of how German consulates operate in different countries, as well as how immigration offices work across different cities in Germany.

That’s why we always choose the most effective relocation strategy for each candidate:
🔹 which country to apply from;
🔹 which immigration route makes the most sense;
🔹 whether it’s better to start the process from abroad or already in Germany.

If visa processing in your country is heavily delayed, we can initiate the Pre-Approval (Vorabzustimmung) procedure directly through our German office. This allows many bureaucratic steps to be handled inside Germany − significantly speeding up the visa process.

We stay hands-on throughout the entire process:
🔹 communicating with immigration authorities;
🔹 moving the process forward where possible;
🔹 advising on timelines;
🔹 preparing document packages;
🔹making sure everything is prepared and submitted properly.

German employers issue powers of attorney to us so we can represent candidates before official authorities, help keep the process on track, and make sure everything is handled within the required timelines.

Employers trust us because they know that, with our support, candidates arrive in Germany and start work on time.

We are official partners of BIS in Berlin (LEA), which helps our candidates receive their documents in Germany faster.

One of our candidates has received an offer from London for a role in data analytics – with relocation support and visa sponsorship 😎🚀

He’s now preparing for the move and will be relocating very soon – the entire relocation timeline is just 1 month.

The candidate is genuinely happy with the outcome: the UK had always been one of his top 3 relocation destinations, and the long-awaited offer ultimately came from London.

Congratulations from the whole team – we’re always excited to see another case where dreams come true 🤩

📞 Recruiter calling from Germany 🇩🇪 – don’t ignore that unknown German number. It might be your job offer 😉

A lot of our candidates ask why they even need to include a phone number on their CV. After all, there’s email, LinkedIn, Xing…

Here’s why: recruiters and HRs in Germany genuinely like calling people.
Out of the blue. No scheduling. No warning. Doesn’t matter whether you’re nearby or living across the world.

They usually call to:
✔️ get to know you and decide whether to invite you for an interview;
✔️ clarify something in your CV;
✔️ and sometimes – to make you an offer 🚀

1️⃣ Initial screening call
Completely normal in Germany.

One of the recruiter-consultants at our agency, originally from Australia, actually prefers cold-calling candidates first and only then moving them to an online interview. Thanks to that approach, we can sometimes introduce candidates to our clients just 3–4 days after receiving the vacancy brief.

2️⃣ Clarifying something in your CV
Also very common.

If an HR manager or hiring manager has a question, they’ll often just pick up the phone and ask directly:
“Could you clarify this part of your experience?”

We once had a candidate with a Chancenkarte visa receive a call from HR asking where she was currently based and whether she’d be able to attend an onsite interview.

3️⃣ Making an offer 🔥
This is where phone calls happen almost every time.

In Germany, HR teams usually don’t send offers by email first. They prefer calling you directly to share the news – or asking recruiters like us to “test the waters” before making the official offer.

That’s why we always tell our candidates:
keep your phone reachable, answer calls from German numbers, and be prepared for an unexpected offer call.

At first, people are surprised. Some don’t really believe it. And then they come back saying:
“Wait… HR actually called me with an offer.”

➡️ Why do Germans do this?
✔️ It’s faster;
✔️ They can immediately see your reaction;
✔️ Germans generally prefer solving things over the phone.

Why even strong candidates get automatically rejected before a recruiter sees their CV? 👀

In the carousel, we explain how ATS (Applicant Tracking System) works – what it is and how it actually filters candidates.

As recruiters, we use one of the most widely used ATS in Europe when hiring for our client companies in Germany. We have direct access to ATS as we work both as recruiters and career consultants.

❗️ Most career consultants almost never have access to ATS.

We understand how these systems actually work: how filters are set, how profiles are scored, and what triggers automatic rejections.

In the carousel, we also share a real case from our work – a clear A/B test:

Before:
The candidate had been applying on his own for a while – and consistently receiving automated rejections.

After working with us:
The candidate got a CV that passes ATS filters, a strong cover letter, and an updated LinkedIn profile optimized for visibility in recruiter search in Germany.

Result:
Applications to the same companies the candidate had previously targeted (where he got auto-rejected) now resulted in interview invitations 🤩
He also secured interviews with other top companies in Germany.

The same candidate. The same experience. Only the CV, cover letter, and LinkedIn were reworked by us – and the outcome changed completely.

We’re now preparing him for interviews 🤞 Hopefully, we’ll be back soon with an offer update.

We can help you build a CV that passes ATS filters and comes across well to recruiters – so you can land a strong offer 🚀

How to change jobs in Germany, resign properly, and secure a strong reference letter

If you’ve been laid off, feel at risk, or are thinking about changing jobs or switching careers, this session will help you understand exactly what to do next.

At the live session, Inessa Tikonov, co-founder of Transparent Hiring GmbH, will walk you through:

🔹 what’s really happening in the German job market right now;
🔹 what to do after a layoff to avoid wasting months on your search;
🔹 how to resign the right way and transition to a new role;
🔹 how to prepare in advance if you feel at risk;
🔹 what you’re entitled to when leaving a company;
🔹 how your visa is affected and what to do next.

Inessa has been living in Germany for 18 years and has worked at Amazon, REWE Digital, and ING.
She brings 6 years of experience in IT recruiting and has helped hundreds of candidates relocate and build careers in Germany.

One of the questions we regularly get on our webinars is: can you work with German companies without relocating?

Yes 🙂 You can – through freelance contracts.

Germany is a highly attractive market in this regard. Rates offered by German clients are among the highest in Europe, companies are typically large and stable, and the freelance market continues to grow.

As recruiters, we regularly source freelance specialists for German companies. That’s why we know this market from the inside: where recruiters look for freelancers, how interviews are conducted – the process is very different from full-time hiring, and much faster.

We know what makes a strong freelance profile, who gets paid more, and how this market really works behind the scenes.

And… we’ve got some great news! 🤩🤩🤩
We’ve packaged our experience into a new service – “Entering the German Freelance Market.” We have a lot to share 😉

Our personalized support program helps you enter the German freelance market and start working with German clients — remotely, without the need to relocate.

🇩🇰→🇫🇷→🇩🇪 Chancenkarte approved in 1 day 🔥

The candidate had been based in Denmark for work for quite some time but lost her job, and her job-seeking residence permit was about to expire − time was running out.

At the same time, she was preparing to move to France for studies and applying for a student visa.

Applying from Denmark was no longer an option.
Applying from France typically requires at least 6 months of residence − which she didn’t have 👀

This case involved multiple moving parts: tight deadlines, urgent apostilles, and coordination across several countries. In situations like this, it helps to have a team you can rely on to keep things moving as everything shifts. That’s what we’re here for 🤝

The candidate attended her appointment, and by the evening of the next day, she was informed that the visa was ready for pickup.

An excellent result − both the client and our team are very happy 😍

🇩🇪 Offer from a Tier 1 company in Germany + relocation bonus – a case where everything came together perfectly 🤩

We first met this candidate in person at our meetup in Georgia.

Although she did not have a directly relevant academic background and her experience was not fully linear, her potential was evident from the very first interaction. She also had strong reference letters, demonstrating consistent performance and recognition from previous employers.

This candidate came to us through a referral from a professional we had previously placed with one of our German partner companies and supported in relocation. We highly value this level of trust and see referrals as a strong signal of the quality of our work 🤝

We are pleased to see such cases result in successful outcomes. We congratulate the candidate and her family and wish them a smooth relocation to Germany!
