I am thoroughly enjoying voicing reports for Focus on Europe. This one is about locals in the city of Marseille trying to keep drug dealers out of their neighborhood.

A neighborhood in Marseille suffered from violence and neglect, until residents began to fight back against drug dealing and poor living conditions to build a better future.

This was fun to narrate because it is constructive journalism: good news about good things happening to people around the world. Quality independent reporting about what`s going right.

30 years ago, the Srebrenica massacre shook Europe. In the midst of the war, the village of Baljvine stood out: Serbs and Muslims prevented violence there. To this day, they continue to work together despite pressure from climate change and shortages.

Another DW report on "migrants in Germany" which to me should be called "immigrants in Germany". But who am I to tell a whole country how to treat foreigners? Still, I was proud to be chosen as the narration voiceover artist.
